Every assistant uses the same server address. No Clearance Critter account or API key is required; your assistant provider may require a plan that supports custom connectors.

- Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
- Back in Apps & Connectors, choose Create.
- Name it Clearance Critter, paste the address above, and pick No authentication.

Available tools
- search_deals: search and filter current listings by budget, department, category, retailer and condition.
- get_deal: retrieve one listing with its price, comparison basis, source, check time and expiry.
- list_categories: see the departments and categories currently represented in the catalog.
- get_price_history: retrieve the recorded baseline summary where available. Individual historical price points are not currently exposed.
- Source-reported listings carry a
sourceReportedblock naming the community source, their original post and the price they reported, and have no reference price, discount or quality score. Assistants are asked to relay the credit with the deal.

What happens to your request
Tools read our precomputed public catalog. They cannot buy anything, change an account, run a paid price lookup or start a scrape. A current empty catalog produces no matches; an unavailable or stale catalog produces an error. Confirm seller, condition, shipping and the final total at the retailer before buying.
