Browsing this website
There are no user accounts. Pages load impact.com’s affiliate tracking tag, which records page views and may turn some retailer links into affiliate links; impact.com may set cookies under its own privacy policy to attribute purchases. Search, filters, sorting and paging all run in your browser. Your search terms appear in the page address so that a filtered view can be shared or bookmarked.
Requests this site makes
Pages request our own deal collection from this website to keep listings current. No third-party service is contacted for that.
AI assistant connector
If you connect an AI assistant to our MCP connector, the assistant sends this website the requests it makes for you: search words, filters such as a budget, department or retailer, and listing ids. We use them only to answer that request from our public deal catalog. There is no sign-in, and we do not ask for or receive your name, email address, account, payment details or conversation. Connector requests are not stored in a database, used to build a profile, or shared with anyone other than our hosting provider.
To enforce a rate limit, the server that answers keeps your IP address and a request count in its working memory. That is never written to disk, a database or our logs, is used for nothing else, and is gone when that server instance shuts down. Your assistant provider (for example OpenAI or Anthropic) handles your conversation under its own privacy policy.
To stop sending us requests, disconnect or remove the connector in your assistant’s settings. For questions about your data, use our contact page.
Reporting an expired listing
If you press Report expired, your browser sends the listing's id to this website. To count each connection once, the server turns your IP address into a keyed one-way code that is specific to that listing, stores only the code (in our private storage at our hosting provider), and discards the address. We cannot turn the code back into an address, and codes for two different listings cannot be matched to each other. Nothing is stored in your browser. The stored codes are deleted within about 45 days of the listing changing or leaving the site.
Hosting and technical logs
Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process technical request information — IP address, requested URL, browser details, timestamps — to deliver and protect the website. A search URL can therefore appear in your browser history and in hosting logs. These logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting plan, no longer than 30 days, and we do not copy them anywhere else. See Vercel’s privacy policy for their practices.
Retailer images and links
Product images load from external retailer image servers, which receive your IP address when the image is requested. Clicking a purchase link takes you to a retailer whose own privacy and cookie policies apply. Amazon affiliate URLs carry our tracking ID; if you arrived from one of our social accounts, your browser remembers which one for this tab only and uses that account’s tracking ID instead, so we can see which posts are useful; Amazon may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policies to attribute qualifying purchases and provide us aggregate affiliate reports. We never receive your payment details, and we never receive a list of what you bought.
Changes
We will update this page when we add anything that changes how information is handled, including on-site analytics or accounts.
